Niki Giesbrecht BSc.P.T.
Niki’s love of sport and exercise drew her to the profession of physiotherapy. She received her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Saskatchewan in 1996. She worked in public and private practice in Saskatchewan prior to her move to the beautiful East Kootenay in 2005. After 24 years of practice, Niki continues to enjoy assisting others to achieve their goals, improve their function and manage pain by using her skills in manual therapy, exercise prescription, acupuncture and intramuscular stimulation (IMS).
She has completed her Intermediate Level of Manual and Manipulative Therapy, Certification in Acupuncture and Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation along with several other musculoskeletal courses.
Outside of work, you might find Niki at the gym, spending time with family, running, cross country skiing, paddling or hiking in the beautiful Kootenay backcountry.
