Jason is a physiotherapist, co-founder of PhysioFITT, and senior healthcare leader with more than 24 years’ experience providing physiotherapy services, leading teams, transforming healthcare systems, developing leaders, and teaching in post-secondary institutions. He is an Adjunct Professor in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of British Columbia and Adjunct Lecturer in the College of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences at Fiji National University. Jason has led and contributed to health system improvement projects in Central America and the Middle East, has co-authored a number of e-books on leadership, and has been published in a well-respected peer-reviewed medical journal in the area of pain science.
Jason holds a Bachelor Arts degree (Psychology) and Bachelor of Science degree (Physical Therapy) from the University of Saskatchewan, a Master of Science degree (Physical Therapy) from the University of Alberta, a Graduate Certificate in Health System Leadership from Royal Roads University and is an EQ-i / EQ360 Certified Practitioner and Achieve Global Leadership trainer. Jason is the principal consultant for RehabLeadership, a leadership development consulting company focused on developing leaders in the field of rehabilitation.
In his downtime, Jason can be found spending time with his family, adventuring in the back country, paddling, running in the forest, sailing, or fishing in Central America.
