Fee and Payment Details
- Payment options include credit card and e-transfer (payments@physiofitt.ca). Sorry, we do not accept cash or cheque.
- Therapist travel costs are included within the therapist’s home community. Travel outside of the therapist’s community is billed at $0.75 per km. This cost includes therapist travel time, fuel, and vehicle maintenance costs.
- All physiotherapy treatment fees are paid by the patient unless coverage is approved and confirmed by another payer (for example – extended health care insurers, Medical Services Plan (MSP), RCMP, Departments of National Defence and Veteran Affairs).
Insurance Coverage
- Many extended health plans provide coverage for physiotherapy. Please check with your insurance provider for more information on the benefits that may be available to you. Every extended health insurance plan has different policies and restrictions.
- We offer direct billing to some extended health insurance plans (see below). Please check with your insurance provider before your appointment to ensure that you are eligible for direct billing. In cases where the direct billing to your insurance company is denied, rejected or suspended, it is your (the patient’s) responsibility to cover all physiotherapy treatment fees.
- ICBC – Patients will be billed directly for the full PhysioFITT treatment cost. It is the patient's responbility to recover treatment costs from ICBC.
- WorkSafeBC (WSBC) –PhysioFITT therapists can see WSBC clients referred for home visits by WSBC case managers.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that sometimes life happens and appointments are missed. However, patients providing less than 24-hour notice prior to cancellations and no-shows may be charged 100% of the treatment amount.
